Thanks to our Light Up To Live supporters, our foundation is able to provide another specially selected service dog and fund its care and service dog training for a Veteran on the road to recovery.

We are proud to introduce our 2019 Patriotic Service Dog: Lincoln. He is a beautiful and hard-working, 12-month-old Golden Labrador who is now part of the program. Tom Tackett, Executive Director of the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation, says that he is already doing a wonderful job on his journey to learn how to be an excellent service animal.

The Patriotic Service Dog is a non-profit organization serving our Veterans by raising awareness for their needs and providing service dogs to those who may benefit from long-term mental and physical assistance.

Through the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation efforts, wounded Veterans are matched with highly trained and skilled service dogs that allow their new partners to become more independent, self-confident, and comfortable with life outside of the military. Their close-knit community of volunteers and professional trainers work alongside Veterans to develop lasting and meaningful bonds with dogs that provide so much more than just companionship.

In 2018, the Light Up To Live charity, founded by Randall and Sherry Reed, partnered with the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation by helping provide two very special service dogs. Gentle Ben and Jackel, named after two fallen heroes, have completed training and are now on their path to helping.

Jackel:
A
 Labradoodle

Gentle Ben:
