Thanks to our Light Up To Live supporters, our foundation is able to provide another specially selected service dog and fund its care and service dog training for a Veteran on the road to recovery.
We are proud to introduce our 2019 Patriotic Service Dog: Lincoln. He is a beautiful and hard-working, 12-month-old Golden Labrador who is now part of the program. Tom Tackett, Executive Director of Patriotic Service Dog Foundation, says that he is already doing a wonderful job on his journey to learn how to be an excellent service animal.
The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation is a non-profit organization serving our Veterans by raising awareness for their needs and providing service dogs to those who may benefit from long-term mental and physical assistance.
Through the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation efforts, wounded Veterans are matched with highly trained service dogs that allow their new partners to become more independent, self-confident, and comfortable with life outside of the military. Their close-knit community of volunteers and professional trainers work alongside Veterans to develop lasting and meaningful bonds with dogs that provide so much more than just companionship.
