Light Up to Live Foundation hosted three stellar events in October 2022, raising enough funds to train five new service dogs in 2023!

We are truly amazed by the generosity of our corporate and individual donors who responded to the call! Moreover, we continue to donate polychromatic light therapy systems to graduates of the Adaptive Training Foundation who are dealing with pain, depression, brain trauma, and PTS from their injuries.

Clay Shoot at Elm Fork Shooting Sports

Thank you to our dedicated supporters for joining us at the 5th annual Clay Shoot tournament on October 12 at Elm Fork Shooting Sports. A special thank you to our guest speaker, WWII Veteran Don Graves, who entertained us with inspirational stories of his time in the military. Click the image above to watch the video!

Golf Tournament at Cowboys Golf Club

Our 6th annual golf tournament sold out and was a huge success at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine! The early morning shotgun start was kicked off by WWII Veteran Don Graves singing the National Anthem. Click the image above to watch the video!

Appreciation Dinner at Blaze!

This first-time event, hosted by Ethos Group at Blaze Brazilian Steakhouse, brought together 70 of our most loyal underwriters to meet Founder Randall Reed and the Board of Directors.

Memorable highlights included a video featuring veterans Keith Murphy and Randy Nantz and their success using our light therapy systems. Next, the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation’s Tom Tackett gave a live training demonstration with Veteran handler Tom Boore and his Dog STAR whose training was underwritten by our donors.

Patriotic Service Dogs and owners Tom and Terri Tackett made a special appearance at all three 2022 Light Up To Live events to showcase the custom van that Light Up To Live funded in 2021 and to showcase several of the service dogs we have funded to date. Giving Tuesday & Year-End Donations

Giving Tuesday is November 29, 2022 and was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to support and give back to charitable organizations.

If you want to give a year-end donation, consider a gift for the 2022 season that will reflect on your 2022 tax statement. Your gift will fund a service dog, paying for a polychromatic light therapy system. No donation is too small!  We are a Platinum-rated charity through GuideStar – the highest rating it gives to charities.

Learn more & give at LightUpToLive.org or GivingTuesday.org.

In 2022, Light Up To Live donated 40 polychromatic light therapy systems to veterans that needed them. Apply here.
Light Up To Live donated more than $100,000 this year to charities providing support services to the veteran community, including the Adaptive Training Foundation and the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation.
Our office is in the new REED CENTER adjacent to Dallas Love Field Airport. Come and see us, but email or call first so we can greet you in person! Email Maureen Ellis or call (214) 379-1445.

Light Up To Live and its donors have successfully funded nine service dogs for veterans – see the photos and profiles by clicking here.
