With the support of Light Up To Live donors and partnerships like Canine Companions, the Foundation has helped improve the lives of Veterans by funding service dog training and supportive care.
Light Up To Live is honored to partner with Canine Companions, an organization that trains service dogs for military veterans in need, and individuals with special needs and disabilities.
Canine Companions celebrated its 50TH Anniversary in 2025, and we could not be prouder of what they have accomplished since 1975 across the country in support of our veterans.
Each year, Light Up To Live funds trained service dogs through Canine Companions to be awarded to our nation’s veteran heroes that have adaptive needs, whether that is suffering from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, pain, and depression, or physical limitations.
